Contenido 4.8 was developed for the following browsers and server constellations:

• Internet Explorer (Version 6 minimum)
• Firefox (Version 2.0 minimum)
• Safari (Version 3 minimum)

System requirements:

• PHP script language, Version 5 minimum (for Contenido Version 4.8.X, PHP 4 is no longer supported, though it still runs)
• MySQL database (Version 5.0 minimum)
• Webserver Apache (Version 2 minimum)

Most Internet Providers offer hosting packages that support these technologies. If your online services have a high number of visitors and hits, you should consider using an own dedicated or managed server.
